Mark Trounson's Disquiet 'Side by Side' with Corey Mwamba

Specially commissioned by EMJazz “Side by Side” brings the UK’s leading jazz musicians to the East Midlands to rehearse, and play with our best local bands.
Derby’s Corey Mwamba is recognised as one of the nation’s most creative improvisers and composers.
Leicester’s own bass player and composer Mark Trounson started the group Disquiet in 2015 to perform original music that explores both structured and free improvisation. Northampton’s dynamic duo of tenor saxophone players Tom Barford and Rob Griffin are both currently in their final year of music college study in London while drummer Corrie Dick is one of the most dynamic and exciting drummers on the UK jazz scene.
