Alison Rayner's music has been described as purposeful, full-toned and melodic. In her roles as both bass player and composer she describes her music as being very personal. The ARQ band members are all highly regarded musicians in their own right, coming together to form a beautifully integrated band. Winners of 'Best Ensemble of the Year' in the prestigious 2018 All-Party Parliamentary Jazz Awards.
